Azure College CEO & Entrepreneur Johnson Napoleon Raise $15,000 For Haitian Migrant Relief Efforts In Del Rio, Texas

Del Rio, Texas (Wavy Buzz) — September 22, 2021 – Johnson Napoleon, founder, and CEO of Azure College, boards a flight at 7 am from Miami, Florida, to Del Rio, Texas, to assist with relief efforts for Haitian migrants stuck at the border. Within 24 hours, Napoleon and other members raised $15,000 to help migrants book hotels and buy sanitary goods as they await deportation back to Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Napoleon has been a long-time advocate for community-related issues that affect Haitians in the United States and abroad by speaking publicly on topics that range from healthcare to finance. He boasts a combined of more than one million followers across his social media channels, which he leverages to educate Haitians on the pitfalls that come with immigrating to countries illegally. Napoleon instead advises Haitians to develop infrastructure in their homeland through collaboration, cultural empowerment, solidarity, and hard work.

In a 7-minute video on his Instagram page, which currently has 107,000 followers, Napoleon spoke passionately about the turmoil that unraveled in Del Rio, Texas, by saying the deportation of approximately 10,000 Haitians could be favorable to their homeland’s future. “I would experiment with these migrants by allowing them to spend up to thirty days in the U.S to observe how roads are built; how patients are cared for; how food is distributed; how a voting system works, etc. When they do return home, they will then realize they can accomplish the same things through a well-put-together system. Instead of accepting poor treatment and disappointment at a foreign border, they should spend that energy building themselves,” states Napoleon.

Napoleon often refers to his very own path when advising immigrants on how to go about moving to a developed country such as the United States. Born in a small village, South Plaisance, Haiti, Napoleon began installing bicycles and sold coffee to make a living at age 12. With hard work and great foresight, Napoleon saved enough money to immigrate to the United States at age 18. Upon arrival to the States, he took a job as a security guard then ventured into real estate, which led him to purchase a small institution in Miami known today as Azure College. Napoleon achieved his American dream over 15 years.

Azure College has graduated more than 5,000 students and Napoleon has taken on other ventures such as property investment, public speaking, and travel.
